It wasn’t until 2007 when Jon gave Jake a call and showed him the new set of songs he had been working on by himself at home with his digital recorder. Jake went on to layer drums, bass and some other instruments to Jon’s new tunes, which turned out to be the actual birth, or in another way, a re-birth of “Poet Warrior”. The debut album which was released in fall 2008. Soon after they recruited drummer Cody Clark and bassist Jeff Clemmer(old school MRAfia coder and friend) for local shows. Jon’s ideas are very unpredictable and thats what we try to capture togeher as a band.” says guitars Jake.
